Hagopian World Of Rugs was no stranger to the world of marketing. They had been an aggressive marketer for years and had developed a very recognizable brand as a result.

They had realized the need to branch out from the marketing channels that they had been using and to get serious about digital channel. They’ve tried email marketing in the past but hadn’t really “hit the mark” in that channel.

With an improved strategy that focused on identifying their ideal customer and then targeting the messaging to those customers, results came quickly.

 

Solution

Once we started to identify what their customer looked like, through our persona development process, we started to understand the online customer for Hagopian World Of Rugs much better.

From that, we were able to put together a strategy for an upcoming promotion that Hagopian World Of Rugs was planning.

The execution was designed to utilize the current email list that Hagopian had been using, a series of email communication blasts, a specifically designed landing page for the conversion of the customer, and the analysis reports needed to know if the campaign worked.

We also performed A/B testing on the email messages that were sent out to gain more information about the Hagopian World Of Rugs customer and their preferences.

We tested design and link type preferences, taking the learned information to future email campaigns to increase the effectiveness of all future campaigns.

Results

  • Conversion rates as high as 60%
