Peggy Agar is the Marketing/Social Media Specialist at Hurley Medical Center. In addition to developing social media campaigns for Hurley and Children's Miracle Network, Peggy shoots, edits and produces videos and commercials. Peggy works with media to develop story ideas and coordinate interviews. She writes a blog about families helped through Hurley Children's Hospital. Peggy came to Hurley after more than 20 years in television news. Peggy has won 4 Emmy awards for her storytelling and editing as well as an Edward R. Murrow award for coverage of the Flint water crisis.
Laura Jasso is the Administrator for Marketing and Community Relations at Hurley Medical Center. Laura has been with the marketing team at Hurley for 10 years, starting as a Marketing Specialist. She designed and launched all of the social media sites and campaigns for Hurley, concentrating on engagement with her followers. Laura has been very instrumental in introducing the organization to digital marketing and still oversees website development and design, and digital advertising campaigns. Laura came to Hurley with a proven background in marketing non-profits, brand management, PR and crisis communications.
